READING SKINCARE LABELS SHOULDN'T REQUIRE A DEGREE IN CHEMISTRY.
Our scientists are changing the game with a groundbreaking new rosemary extraction method that allows us to replace all the toxic preservatives stuck in skincare.
And instead of using plant derived chemicals made in a lab, we use raw ingredients directly from the source.
OUR INGREDIENTS
ALWAYS Vegetarian, sometimes vegan
We only use real ingredients that are minimally processed to retain their powerhouse nutrients.
ROSEMARY EXTRACT
We use a 100% pure CO2 extraction from the rosemary leaf.
Rosemary extract is rapidly gaining popularity around the world as an all-natural preservative for food and cosmetics because of its remarkable properties. It can triple a products shelf-life while providing a host of nutritional benefits. It's an antioxidant and antimicrobial that reduces the signs of aging, fights acne bacteria, and stimulates blood circulation promoting healthy skin and hair growth.
It prolongs the life of oil by taking the place of oxygen in the chemical bond. Rosemary extract is not a full-spectrum preservative, meaning that it won't protect water-based products, but for oil-based products like ours, it is revolutionary.
As with any good innovation comes fakes. We do not use the sunflower seed version that has flooded that cosmetics market.
ZINC OXIDE
THE SAFEST & MOST EFFECTIVE SUNSCREEN INGREDIENT THAT EXISTS.
Sits on top of the skin and reflects harmful UV rays.
HYDROSOLS
Hydrosols are made by distilling fresh plant materials. The vapors turn into a gentle, watery solution, filled with phytonutrients. The end product is water-based but does not need a preservative to stay fresh.
Not all hydrosols are created equally. Commercial manufacturers take a hot and fast approach, while small batch producers take a low and slow approach. Creating hydrosols is an intimate, all-day process that requires low-sustained heat, fresh plant material, and spring water to extract the maximum nutrients.
